The Secreat Stash...only the best pizza parlor in all the world..or atleast in this little hippie town
the town bike story explains all that is to know about crested butte... one summer i came back and there were 8 bikes all over town painted to look like cows. a friend explained to me that some hippies took it upon themselves to make this a town project. the bikes belong to the town. rule is, you see a bike you can ride it to wherever you need. you grab it and go and leave it outsie a building or on a bike rack or even at your house. whatever it is. then the next person in need, sees the bike out side the restaurant where you left it and decides to take it to its next location.
i once borrowed a bike, took it to snake river with some friends, and went skinny dipping. now THAT is a day in crested butte. i like the bikes.
I'm not really sure how or why, but crested butte very frequently has rainbows just like this. its just part of the magic
